Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026.

Scope of This Policy

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of digital courses, subscriptions, and related professional resources offered through glowrampki. The services covered include access to detailed modules on studio equipment setup, dynamic camera operation techniques, lighting design principles, sound wave management, and workflow optimisation for television news and live broadcast environments. It governs transactions made by consumers located in the United Kingdom and explains the terms under which payments are processed and refunds may be issued. The policy does not extend to third-party products or services linked from the site.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges

All listed prices are shown in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate. Any applicable taxes are calculated and displayed at checkout based on the billing address provided. Additional charges may arise for premium add-ons, extended access periods or customised training packages. glowrampki reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time; however, changes will not affect orders already confirmed. Currency conversion fees applied by your payment provider remain your responsibility and are not controlled by us.

Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers for course purchases. Payment authorisation occurs instantly upon submission of order details. All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant gateways that encrypt card data. glowrampki does not store full payment card details. Authorisation may be declined due to insufficient funds, incorrect details or suspected fraud, in which case the order will not proceed. Customers receive immediate confirmation of successful authorisation via email.

Order Confirmation and Contract Formation

A binding contract forms only after we send an order confirmation email detailing the purchased course or subscription. Until that point, your order constitutes an offer that glowrampki may accept or reject. Digital access credentials are provided in the confirmation email or through your account dashboard. You should review all order details carefully before proceeding to payment, as errors cannot be corrected after contract formation except under the cancellation provisions below.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK consumers generally enjoy a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of contract formation during which they may cancel without giving a reason. For digital content, this right is lost once download or streaming access begins, provided you have given prior express consent and acknowledged that the right will be lost. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time before the next billing cycle to avoid renewal charges, but no pro-rata refunds apply for partial periods already accessed.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items

Refunds are available only where statutory rights apply or where glowrampki has failed to deliver the promised service. Non-refundable items include completed course modules once accessed, promotional bundles, and any content downloaded or streamed. Refunds will not be granted for change of mind after access has commenced, technical issues on the customer’s side, or failure to meet personal expectations. Eligibility is assessed strictly against these criteria.

Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact [email protected] or submit details via the contact form on our Contacts page within the applicable time limit. Provide your order number, full name, registered email address, and a clear statement of the reason for the request. Include any supporting evidence such as error messages or screenshots. Requests received without this information may be delayed or rejected. You must not share login credentials when making a request.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification

Upon receipt, our team will inspect the request against policy criteria within ten working days. We will notify you by email of approval or rejection, explaining the reasons for any refusal. Approved refunds proceed to processing; rejected requests may be appealed once with additional information. All decisions are final after the appeal stage.

Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Credit or debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten working days, while PayPal refunds process within three working days. Bank transfers may take up to fifteen working days depending on your provider. glowrampki is not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Promotional Offers

Because our offerings consist primarily of digital content and subscription access, the 14-day cancellation right is limited as described earlier. Once a course module is streamed or downloaded, the right to cancel is extinguished. Subscription cancellations stop future billing but do not entitle you to refunds for periods already used. Promotional offers, including discounted annual subscriptions, are non-refundable after access begins and cannot be converted to alternative products.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud

Failed payments result in order cancellation and loss of reserved access. Duplicate charges detected by our system are automatically investigated and refunded where verified. Chargeback requests are treated as refund requests and will be examined; unjustified chargebacks may lead to account suspension. Suspected fraudulent activity triggers immediate order holds and may be reported to relevant authorities in line with UK law.

Mandatory Consumer Rights in the United Kingdom

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, or the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. These rights cannot be excluded or limited. In particular, services must be provided with reasonable care and skill, and digital content must be as described. If you have a complaint, you may also contact Citizens Advice or the relevant ombudsman.
